Eliana grew up in Kunoy, where she has spent most of her life. She works daily in the food service at Skúlatrøð. However, her home in Kunoy is far from ordinary. She has transformed her basement apartment into a magical haven, shared with over 50 animals, ranging from exotic snakes and bearded dragons to turtles, frogs, and mice. Outside, she also has her own herd of Faroese horses, sheep, and rabbits.
On certain days and special occasions, guests are welcome to visit her unique home and fascinating animal sanctuary. Eliana’s talent and creativity extend beyond her animals, as she leaves her mark on various local events with her distinctive approach to stage design, costumes, and body makeup.
Eliana says it’s hard not to fall in love with Kunoy, as the nature is breathtakingly beautiful, and the days are peaceful and grounded.
